Thad Thomas received his bachelor and
doctorate
degrees from the University of Kentucky.
While
vacationing in Florida and the Carolinas he began his hobby of
seashell collecting, which spawned a more intuitive study of
these creatures. With a background in zoology, radiology and
photography, he has developed an
unusual and beautiful art
form.
The artist states 'I create images that
explore beyond the outer form and appearance to discover the
inner beauty of nature's design and complex architecture.
Exploring natures complex creative process leads to wonderment
and appreciation of our habitat. Art and nature are timeless
elements that reaffirm beauty and individuality. I want my art to
be both a visual pleasure and an object of conversation.
